Peat Purol
Peat stumbled upon Yoga back in 2008. After 3 years of personal practice,
he decided that he wanted to share this practice with others. Peat’s teaching
style honors his roots in traditional yoga practices while fusing together his love
of various martial art disciplines, functional mobility and ‘pre-hab’/therapeutic exercise.
This unique style of movement is woven together with a strong awareness of breath and of
the subtle, inner experience. His teaching philosophy is a fusion of various traditions of
Yogic, Buddhist, Christian and Western philosophies in the hopes of conveying the perennial
wisdom that underlies all traditions, and helps show us there truly is more that connects
us than separates us. In his classes, expect to navigate the edges of your comfort zone;
physically, mentally and emotionally. Through practice, you will find the natural balance
that manifests when we come to know and accept ourselves as we are, while gradually
pushing beyond our own perceived limitations and shortcomings.
